This is not just a Church...
this is Home.

Nurture Each Other in Faith

CDA is not just a church. We are a family that worships the same God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Here, we help you discover your purpose in Christ, develop your relationship with God, and help you grow as a Christian and a person.

We know and believe that God has a great purpose for each of his children. We want people to see their potential, discover their calling, and take their God-given gifts to the world around them. Whether it's your Job, talent, past testimony, or future life, we know that you can help further God's kingdom.

The Story

God made a special call to Pastors Francisco and Edna.

They lived for many years in New Bedford, MA, where they met, married, and had four children.

While pregnant with their fourth child, God spoke to them about Taunton, MA. God was calling this family to move away and start a Church from scratch.

Starting a Church was something these two Pastors had been avoiding for a while now.

But when God tells you to do something, you do it.

And so they did; in 2006, the Isaacs moved 28 minutes from New Bedford to Taunton, Massachusetts.

Years of hard work, fasting, and prayer led to the Church having a small but potent presence in the City of Taunton. Even with technology advancing and times changing, the congregation continued to grow steadily.

In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Church temporarily switched from in-person meetings to online video calls. This made it necessary for the Church to close its physical doors on Weir St in 2020.

House Of Worship remained on zoom for almost a year before temporarily merging its facilities with another Church in the fall season of 2021. They quickly upgraded to another place to start 2022, 5 Cohannet St, where the Church is again rebuilding and growing.

Despite the challenges that have arisen throughout the years, CDA is still standing and will continue to stand firm until the day the Lord comes for us.
